Terms of service

The deal

You sign up; we publish. Free accounts get three articles a month; paid tiers unlock unlimited reading and progressively more tools. You’re responsible for the accuracy of what you put on your profile. We’re responsible for keeping the platform available, your data private, and your subscription billed correctly.

Acceptable use

• One account per person.
• Don’t scrape, redistribute, or resell our content. Quote with attribution; share article URLs freely.
• Don’t use the platform to send unsolicited messages to other subscribers (visible-on-network is for genuine professional connection, not outreach).
• Sponsors get analytics on opted-in subscribers; they don’t get permission to spam.

Subscriptions

• Billed via Stripe. We never see your card.
• Cancel anytime from /account/billing. Access continues through the end of the paid period.
• We may adjust pricing with 30 days notice; existing subscriptions keep their current rate through the next renewal.

Content

Articles are © The Elite Officer or the listed author. Sponsored articles are clearly marked. User-contributed content (reviews, comments) remains yours; you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform.

Termination

You can delete your account anytime. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that abuse the platform, after a written warning unless the abuse is severe.

Liability

The platform is provided “as is.” We’re not liable for business decisions you make based on what you read here. Editors fact-check; readers verify.
